Day 25 of 365: Jucing! 


My shiny new juicer! Omega J8004. 
I juiced today. It took me approximately 45 minutes, from chopping to clean up. 

One bunch of kale, 5 golden beets (stems and leafs, too) 2 granny smith apples, a bag of Carrots, and a lemon! I added a couple handfuls of chia seeds and then refrigerated for 10 minutes. 
Yielded about 24 oz. of juice. 
I was really impressed with the quality of the juice. It wasn’t chunky at all! (Except the chia seeds, of course.)

I read online that you should consume juice at least 30 minutes before your breakfast- so that’s what I’m doing! I am aiming to juice at least 3x a week to start out with, since it is quite a process!

Oh, and did you all notice? I like kale!
