Last night I made nachos and had a beer. Sometimes a girl just can’t resist some junk food, but hey, at least it was cooked at home. All I wanted when I got home from work was some Taco Bell.

I’ve made it 7 whole days since I’ve started this not-dining-out adventure. One thing I’ve learned about myself recently is that, when it comes to food, I am very much a creature of habit. I can have the same thing for breakfast basically everyday, and it doesn’t really bother me. Same goes for lunch. However, when it comes to dinner- lookout. I want to get down on some food. Overeating is something I have always done- I don’t feel full until I’m really full. Like, I’m going to puke because I ate so much, full. A couple years ago, I bought smaller dinner plates thinking that I would eat less since there’s less room, right? Nah, I just go back and back again. It’s something I will continue to work on, I’m just not sure how to convince my brain to stop!

I saw a thing on Facebook a while back about drinking a full glass of water when you wake up because you’re already dehydrated. I take Synthroid and Sertraline (Zoloft) first thing in the morning so that’s been helping with the full glass of water thing.

I’m off to get ready for work and eat my normal every day breakfast of greek yogurt w/ granola. I’ll be jamming to “Running Thru a Field of Smiles,” playlist on Spotify, if you care to join me.
